My journey with makeup started back in high school when I found myself teaching friends how to blend eyeshadow like a pro.
Fast forward to 2012, when I became a DIY bride, doing my own wedding makeup because I wanted to look like the best version of myself—but I struggled to find a makeup artist whom I trusted to bring my vision to life.
That experience sparked a passion for helping women feel confident in their own skills. Now, I teach everyday women how to create a polished, effortless look that fits their lifestyle.

Should I Bring My Own Makeup?
Yes! During the makeup lesson, we audit the makeup you currently own to ensure you are using the products that are right for your skin and style. Don't worry, Dee will incorporate product from her Pro makeup kit to ensure you achieve the look you desire.
I Have No Makeup Experience, Are the Lessons for Beginners?
All Lessons taught by Dee Gilmore Beauty are customized to the client's experience, needs and desires. You do not need to know anything about makeup application or products to fulfill your desire to learn how to be your own artist!
What's the Difference Between Bridal and In-Person Makeup Lessons?
An in-person lesson is booked by someone who seeks to learn how to do their own makeup for an every day look, a special event, or to take their makeup skill to the next level.
Bridal makeup is a more involved process. Your bridal makeup look depends on many factors such as the wedding location and time and date; the bridal lesson includes a consultation, a day of shopping to ensure you have all of the makeup and tools needed, and finally the execution of the look. You also have the option for a follow-up meeting to correct and fix any issues or small changes, and to ensure you look great, and feel comfortable doing your makeup on your big day!
